Why press-on nails?
Press-on nails are a safe, cost-effective way to change up the design and style of your manicure as often as you like. With proper application and removal, press-ons won’t cause any damage to your natural nails. And maybe better yet, Manicurated nails cost a fraction of the time and money a trip to the salon takes (and can last just as long!), while still giving you a customized, hand-made, and -designed manicure.
What nail art designs do you offer?
We offer at least new three nail art designs per month.
How long are designs available?
Designs are available for six months from their release.
What nail sizes, shapes, and lengths do you offer?
We currently offer sizes 00-9 in round, stiletto, or coffin shapes in either extra short, short, or medium lengths.

Do I need to purchase a sizing kit before ordering?
No. While we recommend you order a sizing kit to ensure your nails will fit perfectly, if you already know your nail sizes or would prefer to measure and size your nails on your own (see below!), you can still place an order.
How can I size my nails at home?
While we recommend you order a sizing kit to ensure your nails are the best fit for you, we know you might be in a hurry!
Take a piece of clear tape and place it across the widest part of your nail.
Mark the two sides of your nail at their widest point.
Remove the tape from your nail and measure the distance in millimeters between the two marks using a ruler.
Compare your measurements to the below nail sizing guide and submit your sizes at checkout!
What materials are the nails made with?
All sets are created with soft gel materials–nails and colors!
Do you offer long nail lengths?
At this time we do not offer long nail lengths. With a limited number of designs each month that work across several nail shapes, we feel they translate best to short and medium-length nails!

Membership
How does membership work?
We’re so excited you’re interested in becoming a Manicurated member! Members can either join on a monthly ($45/month) or annual ($500/year) billing cycle and save on their monthly sets.
When you sign up, you’ll be asked to give us your name and email and create a password for your login to manicurated.com. Once you sign up, you’ll receive an email to log in and fill out your default preferences for your monthly kit, including shape, length, and application method (nail glue vs. stickers). Even if you already know your nail sizes, we want to ensure members can test and choose the correct sizes in the shape and length they like best before we begin filling orders every month. So, we’ll send you a complimentary nail sizing kit, which will ship 2-3 days after you complete your preference form. As soon as we receive your nail sizes, we’ll work on fulfilling your first order!
Members will receive an email announcing the next month’s designs on the 20th day. Within the email, we’ll list your default preferences and there will be a link to choose your design and/or change your nail set preferences for the coming month. You will have until one day prior to your billing date to make any changes you’d like, otherwise, we’ll fill your monthly order using your standard nail preferences and default member design!
When will I receive my monthly set?
We’ll send your set out within 2-3 days of your payment. Average shipping time can take between 5-7 days.
When will my credit card be charged?
For monthly members, your card will be charged for the following month's set on the same numbered date as your sign-up. For example, if you join on January 15, your next membership fee will be charged on February 15 for your February nail set. Your next billing date will be included in the email announcing new designs.
How do I receive my complimentary sizing kit as a member?
When signing up as a member, we’ll ask you which nail shape and length sizing kit you would like to receive! We’ll send out your kit 2-3 days after you join.
I received my sizing kit; how do I add my nail sizes to my membership?
Scan the QR code on the card that came with your sizing kit and you’ll be taken to a form on manicurated.com to submit your sizes! We’ll get to work right away filling your first month’s order.
How can I change my default membership preferences?
Log in to manicurated.com and hover over the navigation that reads “[Monthly/Annual] member.” Select “Preferences.” Enter any changes you’d like to make to your default design, shape, or length, and submit!
Note: you’ll receive an email to change your preferences for sets on a month-to-month basis, according to your membership. We kindly ask you to keep changing default preferences to long-term intentions.
How can I change my preferences for the upcoming month?
Click the link in the email you received announcing next month’s designs. You’ll be taken to a form on manicurated.com to update your preferred shape and/or length for your upcoming set!
Do I have to submit my set’s preferences for the upcoming month to receive my order?
No! You can be as involved month-to-month as you would like. If you would like to stick to your default preferences this coming month (or every month!), you’re more than welcome to. Sit back, and we’ll fulfill your order without anything further from you.
How can I purchase additional discounted sets?
Log in to manicurated.com and hover over the navigation that reads “[Monthly/Annual] member.” Select “Shop.” Here, you’ll find the currently available limited-edition designs at your discounted member rates!
What is the cancellation policy?
While we’re sad to see you go, we kindly ask that you cancel your recurring membership payment on or before the day prior to your billing date. For monthly members, any cancellation requests coming after this date will be honored for the following month and orders will still be filled for the month, as charged. For annual members, please contact us.
For example, if a monthly (or annual member) is scheduled to be renewed on February 15, you have until February 14 to cancel your membership.
Application and removal
How do I prep my nails for application?
Shape your nails using a file, smoothing any rough edges.
Use your cuticle pusher to push your cuticles back, off the surface of the nail plate.
Buff the surface of your nail plate (gently!) to remove any shine.
Use the alcohol wipe to remove any remaining oil or dust on your nail.
Now, you’re ready to move on to your adhesive and apply your nails!
How do I apply my press-ons using nail glue?
Place a small bead of glue in the middle of your natural nail. Take your nail form, and apply at a 45-degree angle starting at your cuticle, allowing the glue to spread across the nail plate. Press down in the center of the form for 5-10 seconds to ensure it holds.
How do I apply my press-ons using nail stickers?
Choose the nail sticker that best fits your nail. Then, remove the sticker from the sheet and apply to your natural nail. Peel away the protective side of the sticker and apply your nail form, pressing down for 5-10 seconds to ensure it holds.
How do I remove my press-ons?
To safely remove your press-ons, without damaging your natural nails or the press-ons:
Soak your nails in a mixture of warm water, nail oil, and liquid soap for 10-15 minutes.
When your nail form begins to lift, use your cuticle pusher to gently remove it from your natural nail. If there’s any resistance, soak your nails again until the form pops off easily.
Use your nail buffer to buff away any remaining adhesive on your nail and store your set in a safe place to use again!
To safely, and permanently remove your press-ons, without damaging your natural nails:
Use your nail buffer to remove the shine on all of your nails.
Soak cotton balls in acetone or nail polish remover and press one against each of your nails, wrapping your finger in aluminum foil to secure for 10-15 minutes.
When the nail polish and nail form begin to deteriorate and flake, use your cuticle pusher to gently scrape away. If there’s any resistance, wrap your nails again until the nail polish and nail form easily flake off.
Use your nail buffer to buff away any remaining adhesive on your nail and apply cuticle oil to finish!
How long will my press-ons last?
In our experience, the effort you put into prepping your nails for application determines how long your press-ons will last. Nails applied with stickers are intended for short-term wear (1-3 days), while press-ons applied with glue can last up to 14+ days.
Can I reuse my press-ons?
Yes! If you remove your press-ons properly (see above), you can get multiple wears out of your set.
However, they are made of soft-gel materials and can deteriorate if you soak your nails in acetone.

When will I receive my order in the mail?
Processing for one-off orders can take up to 2-3 days. Please allow 5-7 days to receive your order by USPS.
The size of one or more of my nails was incorrect; can I receive a refund?
We’re sorry to hear that! Sizing is the responsibility of the purchaser, and due to the custom, handmade nature of the product, Manicurated cannot offer refunds for this reason. Single replacement nails are available for purchase.
My order was damaged or lost in the mail; can I receive a refund?
We’re sorry to hear that! Once the package is scanned into the USPS system, Manicurated is not responsible for the package or any shipping carrier errors or damages. For this reason, we cannot offer a refund. Please contact us with any further questions.
